Future 25mm Napoleonics Game
Joel Gregory, who lives in Pequot Lakes, probably will not be back into cities (for gaming) until probably after the Holiday season. He has to go out to Pennsylvania for Fall-In and than we are into November and the Holiday Season. At the moment he has the largest collection of 25mm Napoleonic figures. This probably means our next game will not be until first of the year.
So we have tentatively planned for a game at the Winter ReCON, we are hoping for either late January or early February. Our goal is to make it a larger game and get more Cavalry involved as well reserves. This should make for an interesting battle.
My goal for that game is to have the following figures ready.
Austrian
Light Division
1st Jaegers
2nd Jaegers
Emperor’s Chevauxlegers
3# Artillery Battery
7th Border Regiment
7th Jaegers
Levenehr Dragoons
Vincent Chevauxlegers
6# Artillery Battery
I Corps
Division Wimpffen
Froon Infantry Regiment (2 battalions + 1 militia)
De Vaux Infantry Regiment (2 battalions + 1 militia)
6# Artillery Battery (3 Stands)
Argenteau Infantry Regiment (2 battalions + 1 militia)
Erbach Infantry Regiment (1 battalion + 1 militia)
6# Artillery Battery (3 Stands)
Division Greth
De Ligne Infantry Regiment (3 battalions)
Czartorysky Infantry Regiment (3 battalions)
6# Artillery Battery (3 Stands)
Albert Gyulai Infantry Regiment (2 battalions)
Reuss-Plauen Infantry Regiment (2 battalions)
6# Artillery Battery
Artillery Reserve
12# Artillery Battery
2 6# Artillery Batteries
Army Reserve
Grenadier Battalion
Grenadier Battalion
Grenadier Battalion
Grenadier Battalion
12# Artillery Battery
6# Artillery Battery
I am thinking that we will be doing the South East section of Leipzig, pitting the Austrian I Corps and Polish Reserve Army vs a reinforced French V Corps.
